As I was brushing my teeth this morning,
Harry came bouncing into the bathroom.
“Did you know the Apollo mission cost
£x million?” (It could have been billion.
It was early and the question involved the use of very specific
figures).
“When I’m grown up, I will sell space
suits for £1 pound though. That would be
a good idea, wouldn’t it?”
He lowers his voice to a whisper and
smiles indulgently at me.
“You can have them for free though.”
He’s mine, all mine.
What this little thing? <points to rather jazzy spacesuit> Didn’t cost me a penny.
If there's a better way to start your day, I seriously want to know about it.

That's so cute and he sounds like a very smart little boy too. I bet you will look very stylish in your space suit too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a charmer!! There's surely no better way to get on mum's good side than the offer of free clothes! Thanks so much for linking up, excellent post :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous-spirited little chap! And who knows, we might all need to be wearing his bargain space suits in the future, what with global warming 'nd all....
