Pricing up Space Hardware

As I was brushing my teeth this morning, Harry came bouncing into the bathroom.

“Did you know the Apollo mission cost £x million?” (It could have been billion.  It was early and the question involved the use of very specific figures).

Harry’s class are doing space as their topic this term, so we have a lot of facts of this ilk.

“When I’m grown up, I will sell space suits for £1 pound though.  That would be a good idea, wouldn’t it?”

He lowers his voice to a whisper and smiles indulgently at me.

“You can have them for free though.”

He’s mine, all mine.

What this little thing? <points to rather jazzy spacesuit>    Didn’t cost me a penny.

If there's a better way to start your day, I seriously want to know about it.

  3. What a generous-spirited little chap! And who knows, we might all need to be wearing his bargain space suits in the future, what with global warming 'nd all....
